Please call us at 540-798-9836 to get the quickest response for any wildlife emergency. If you get our voice mail, please leave your name, number(s), location, and brief description of your situation so we can call you back. If it is after hours and we are closed, or have a high volume of calls and can’t get to you right away, there is some basic information and advice under theGet Involved/Rescuing Animalstab for information on common scenarios until we can get back to you.

Due to high volume of calls we cannot always respond immediately and but we will do so as soon as we can as long as a voicemail is left (please make sure your inbox is set up and not full so we can leave you one back if you don’t pick up! Our biggest issue getting in touch with people is this!). Please be patient and understand that we have no receptionist and we respond to calls whenever we have a free moment between caring for patients and running the facility.

There are a lot of ways you can do to help our effort to conserve and care for the native wildlife of the Roanoke Valley and beyond:

  • Monetary Donations (one time or recurring)
  • Donate Supplies
  • Volunteer
  • Internship

All donations are tax deductible and recurring donations can be edited or stopped at any time by simply logging into your account.
